Terms of Service

This document gives the terms and conditions for use of this website to search for and/or purchase a listed product.

Please note that the terms of service of the companies providing the product ("The Supplier") will take precedence over or act in addition to the terms laid out here.


"Purchase" This expression refers to the arrangement to enter into a trade agreement with BeanMate and its partners.

"Customer" The person, company, department or other body who has ordered and/or accepted products or services from BeanMate.

"The Product" All products or services accepted by the Customer along with any other items and or services included or implied whether specified or not.

"Owner/The Company" is BeanMate.

"The Supplier" The company (or companies) that physically provide The Product, which will be arranged by but not insured by The Company

Provision Of The Product or Service

BeanMate agrees to make the best effort possible to source & arrange the Customer's order in a timely manner with the co-operation of The Suppliers.


As delivery is not directly managed by BeanMate, we are unable to provide a guarantee that all of your goods will arrive at the same time or using the same courier. We will however endeavour to arrange the dispatch of your goods as soon as possible. Orders are automatically transferred to the roasting houses once they are placed, so once the order has been placed you can be assured it is in the right hands.

Customer Support

We are determined to provide excellent customer support wherever possible. You can email us at support@beanmate.coffee which is monitored between 9AM to 8PM every day including weekends. If we need to contact the roaster to answer your question, we will need to respect their hours of business, so weekend requests may be logged and dealt with the following Monday.

How To Cancel

You can cancel an order at any time up until the dispatch has been confirmed by logging into your account, selecting your current Order and clicking 'Cancel Order.' We will automatically inform the Supplier(s) of the cancellation and refund you within 14 days as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If the Supplier fails to cancel the delivery, we will refund you anyway and you can keep the coffee!

Substitute Products

If one of your selections is unavailable for any reason we will contact you either by email or phone (please leave a phone number for us!) to ask whether you would prefer a different product or a refund for the amount of the missing item to your payment method within 14 days (though we will endeavour to process the refund sooner).


a) Returns & Refunds

Returns & refunds can only be offered under exceptional circumstances , such as where the product is substantially defective or damaged. 'Defective' goods include goods that are past the use-by date upon receipt, goods that are contaminated, packaging that has been tampered with. Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of the goods, at the cost of the Customer. If deemed reasonable, BeanMate will issue a refund within a further 14 business days using the Customer's payment, though we will endeavour to process it sooner. Refunds are unlikely to be issued where the product is simply not to the Customer's personal taste.

b) Harm

Neither The Supplier nor The Company accept any liability for harm to The Customer or any other party as a result of misuse of The Product.

Data Protection:

BeanMate and its partners take GDPR and other privacy legislation seriously, and will never use your personal information for any purpose that you do not explicitly consent to. As you browse the BeanMate site we may be collecting information about your browsing habits within the website through the use of Cookies, for the purpose of improving the user experience. Please refer to the Privacy Policy at the bottom of the BeanMate home page for the complete policy.

Force Majeure:

BeanMate is not liable for any failure to supply a product or service where that failure is wholly caused by an event that could not reasonably have been foreseen, forestalled or prevented. This may include (but is not limited to) acts of war, terrorism, or natural disasters. While every effort will be made by BeanMate to carry out any order accepted, the full provision of it is subject to variation or cancellation by The Company consequent upon natural disaster, war, strikes, riots, lock-outs or other labour disturbances, fire, flood, restrictions of the use of transport, fuel or power, requisitioning, shortage of material or transport or labour or any other cause beyond the control of the company.

English Jurisdiction:

All agreements, contracts and transactions entered into with BeanMate will be bound and governed by English Law. This document supersedes all previous terms and conditions of hire.

Like and Share competition:

Legal stuff we have to say. 5 winners will be chosen at random from the valid entries by a BeanMate representative. No alternative prize will be offered. BeanMate cannot accept any responsibility if the winner's notification message is not received due to a fault in the messaging platform e.g. for the notification message sent straight to the winner’s junk mail folder. No correspondence will be entered into. The competition will run from Tuesday 24th November to Tuesday 15th December. Entries outside this period may not be entered into the prize draw. The coffee may differ depending on the time of the roast
